Local Northwest Jewish artist, Julia Waco, finds inspiration from her daughter and her rose & peony garden. Julia’s paintings follow a garden theme of lush oversized flowers and cottages often revealing little creatures contributing an uplifting, lighthearted element into the compositions.
Julia's richly applied acrylic paintings on canvas are executed in brightly colored jewel tones and glazes bringing delight into any room. Her work hangs in several retirement communities, Shriner’s Hospital, Randall Legacy Hospital and Alyn Children’s Hospital in Israel.
Julia often offers her paintings for fundraising benefiting medical charities and other community programs.
Her work can be seen on Instagram under the name Julia.Waco. Julia
shows yearly with ORA- Northwest Jewish Artists, at the Celebration of Art.
She thanks her family and friends for all of their support and encouragement over the years.
