Inspiration comes from everywhere.  Why not make a kippah entirely out of glass beads?  And if light shines through them so beautifully, why not a candle holder? A Yahrzeit candle holder? A Mezuzah? A scarf ring? A bookmark?  The possibilities are endless! 

     Sometimes the idea comes from the beads, looking to me for a voice. A beautiful bead will beckon, coaxing me to make it into something wonderful. Other times the idea comes from within me, and I turn to the beads to express it.

    Then comes the third party - you! Something magical happens when artist and materials meet recipient. Finally the plaintive voice of the beads becomes a beautiful song.  And then I know why I create.
