Call for Guest Artists |

ORA: Northwest Jewish Artists is a
collective of local
Jewish artists. We are pleased to announce that we will jury new guest
artists
for our annual autumn fine art & craft show, A Celebration of Art
2011.
In addition to our regular
members, we are pleased to include the work of up to 10 guest artists.
A Celebration of Art 2011 will be housed
in
the main
ballroom of the Mittleman Jewish Community Center on Sunday, October 30th,
2011.
Only ORA members and their juried guests
will have the
opportunity to show or sell their work. This will be an arts show, not
a
holiday bazaar or craft fair. We wish
to feature the best artwork local Jewish artists are producing. Although we will feature Jewish artists, the
artwork need not reflect a Jewish theme.
Advertising, booth space, tables and chairs are
included in a flat
$110 table fee. ORA will not charge a
commission for any artwork you sell. We
invite you to submit samples of your artwork or photographs submitted
by email
depicting your work for our juried show. The
anonymous jury panel is comprised of professional
artists,
instructors, and occasionally gallery owners.
There is a $25 jury fee for guest artists.
Artists who are
accepted by the jury may apply their jury fee to the table fee. Payment of the jury fee should be a check
made payable to ORA, and should accompany your application, which must
be
received by June 30th. The jurying of
guest art will take place on Sunday July 10th at
Congregation Neveh Shalom in Portland. Please

Please print out the application to fill it in. Complete the application and mail it with your Jury Fee payment to the address below. (If you prefer, you can fill out the application on your computer, e-mail it to the e-address below and bring your payment to the jury on July 10th.)
In addition, we ask that you let us know by email as soon as possible if you wish to be considered for a guest artist space for our 2012 Celebration of Art.
